순천향대 한국문화콘텐츠학과 교수. 중국 민주대학교에서 박사후과정을 마친 그의 주요 연구 관심사는 한국 고전 소설과 한국과 중국의 비교 문학이다. 저서로는 《조선 후기 한국 고전 소설의 관점》, 《한국과 중국 소설의 비교》, 《신광한 기재기이》 등이 있다.

Sung Woon Chun (PhD, Korea University) is a professor in the Department of Korean Culture & Contents at Soonchunhyang University. He completed postdoctoral studies at Minzu University of China, and his principal research interests are Korean classical novels and comparative literature between Korea and China. Dr. Chun’s publications include The View of Korean Classical Novels in the Late Joseon Period, Comparison between Korean and Chinese Novels, and Shin Gwanghan’s Gijae Records the Extraordinary.
