크리스토퍼 길
1946년 생으로, 예일 대학교, 브리스틀 대학교, 웨일스 대학교, 애버리스트위스 대학교의 고전학과에서 강의를 해왔으며, 미국 노스캐롤라이나의 국립인문학 연구 센터에서 초빙연구자 과정을 밟기도 했다. 최근까지 엑서터 대학교에서 고대 그리스 사상에 대한 교수직을 역임했으며, 현재는 은퇴한 뒤에 명예교수직을 유지하고 있다. 그리스와 로마의 철학과 문학에 대한 많은 논문들과 연구서들을 저술 및 편집했으며, 그 가운데 대표적인 것들은 다음과 같다.
